Batman Birthday Card for a Special Person!

This card is for my Boyfriends sister, Kandi. She absolutely loves Batman, so I decided to make her a girly Batman card for her birthday. Her actual Birthday was on the 16th. With school and being sick, my love and I hadn't been able to do anything with her til tonight, so we are having her over for supper!

My card is A2 size.
The Blue layer is embossed with the Stars Cuttlebug folder.
My sentiment is from My Pink Stampers Friends and Family Stamp set.
The Batsign base is cut from Batman the Brave and the Bold Cartridge at 3 1/4"
I used my Gypsy to make an extra layer so my batsign would be 3 colors.
The little yellow layer that my 1/8" pink ribbon is on is 2".
For my inside layer I used yellow and also added the inside of my Batsign to left side of the card for extra decoration.
Hope you like it!

Birthday Card for my Daddy!

Today is my daddy's 49th Birthday!!! I thought I'd have a special blogpost for his special day. Here is the card I had ready for him when he got home this morning at 9am. He works graveyard so I only got to spend a little time with him this morning. Luckily his party is this Sunday so we can all celebrate as a family.

His card is A2 size. The patterned paper is from the Faith Stack from Hobby Lobby.
The sentiment is from Gypsy Wanderings and is cut at 3" with a shadow of the same maroon.
The ribbon is 1/4" from Walmart.
It's usually hard to make a manly birthday card with my love of glitter and bling, but my daddy's card normally come out perfect for him.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!
Hope you like it!

Throwback Thursday Challenge at My Creative Time!

For Emma's Throwback Thursday, I decided to make a "Get Well" card for a friend of the family who is ill. We had to use an older cartridge of course and the color green.
My card is A2, and I used paper from the K&Company super paper pad.
The ribbon is 5/8" light yellow ribbon from Hobby Lobby.
The flowers are cut from Paisley at 2' and 1 1/2".
Diamond Stickles make my flower centers stand out!
My sentiment is stamped in lime green from a stamp set called "Greetings" by the Paper Company. I lightly dusted the flower petals with a bright orange Chalk so they stood out a little.
Since I really liked this paper I decided to make another card for an Aunt and Uncle of mine that live in Arizona.
This one has all the same ingredients except for the sentiment.
On this card I used a stamp from My Pink Stampers Fabulous Phrases set.
The white strip on the front is 3" and is punched with an EK Success border punch.
Hope you like 'em!!

My Pinkalicious Spring Blog Hop!

For me St.Patricks Day is the kickoff to spring so I decided to make a St Paddy's Day card to enter in the Blog Hop!

Here is my little card, it is A2 size.
The patterned background paper is Sage Stripe and from Joanns.
My little four leaf clover is cut at 3" from Designers Calendar.
His face is stamped in Black ink using Peachy Keen Everyday Character Face Assortment. I used these on my last St. Patricks day card and I can't get enough of them! Of course the white gel pen works best for the eyes to stand out.
The Ribbon is 1/4" and from Wal-Mart.
My sentiment inside is a rubber stamp by Stampabilities called Funky St. Patricks Day! I used a pastel lime green Chalk ink pad for this. Both are from Hobby Lobby.
I cut another clover out at 2" to have a coordinating envelope to give my card in!
Hope you like it!

The Grotto's First Make and Take!!

A while back I took a few of the little girls in my life to a Make and Take at my local Joanns which is in our mall. Unfortunately our location is a lot smaller than others, but I was thrilled to hear that they were participating in the Valentines Day make and take. The event was supposed to start at 11. At noon they were barely taking a Cricut Create out of the box to get this project started for these girls. It was very disappointing, so I decided to host my own for St. Patricks Day!

Here are my little darlings and I all dressed in green and ready to craft!
I chose to have them decorate a little paper purse cut from Forever Young so they could use it on St. Patricks Day!
From pom poms to ribbons, rhinestones to die cuts, these little girls used absolutely everything I put out for them!
The die cuts I used for them were the shamrock from Paper Doll Dress Up and a heart from Create a Critter. I cut the Shamrock out at about 3" so they could use the Cuttlebug!  They also had pipe cleaners to choose from for their purses handle!

Here's the one I made for them to have an idea of what it would look like folded up and put together.
Here are their purses all done! They make mine look so boring!! Aren't they all just too cute?! They all got a little goodie bag from me and my soulmate Jeri. I decorated them with the same shamrocks they had used, and I also put their names on them using My Gypsy and Gypsy Font. Inside we put gum and chapsticks, and a few other little treats. We had so much fun, I can't wait for the next get together!
Hope you like it!

Denver Bronco and Harley Davidson Baby Blankets!

A friend of mine needed some blankets for her new Godson, Harley Davidson and the Denver Broncos were the themes she chose for this sweet baby boy!

Here is the Bronco one folded up and ready to be boxed.
I used Red Heart brand yarn, and the color is soft navy.
The material is an older print I couldnt find antwhere, but luckily a dear friend of mine had some in her fabric reserve!
My chain was 125 stiches and I did 62 rows.

The second Blanket is the exact same size only with different colors and material.

Finding Harley-Davidson fabric is dang near impossible to find. I ended up buying a sheet set and chopping it up! The yarn is Red Heart brand color black

I hope the baby loves them!!
Hope you like 'em!

St. Paddy's Day Card for Throwback Thursday Challenge!

Here is my entry for the challenge over on My Creative Time. Our project had to be St. Paddy themed. I just love St. Patricks Day cause I can wear head-to-toe green and no one thinks I'm crazy!

My card is A2 size with Lined Shamrock paper from Joanns as my background.
My four leaf clovers are cut at 2 1/2", 2", 1 1/2" from Designer's Calendar cartridge.
I used some Peachy Keen Stamps for my faces. The Everyday Character Face Assortment gave me all the sizes I needed.
The green brads and 1/8" ribbon are from Hobby Lobby.
A white gel pen also from Peachy Keen Stamps brought life to my little shamrocks' eyes
Hope you like it!

My Pink Stamper Feathered Friends Challenge!

This is the card I came up with for the Pink Stampers challenge! We had to make a card with a feathered friend on it and I just got the Wrap It Up cartridge so I figured I'd go with a stork! I don't have the Tweetie Hoo Puns stamp set in my collection yet, but I look forward to owning it soon!

My card is A2 size, I used DCWV blue cubes paper. My cute little stork is cute out at 4 1/2" from Wrap It Up. The bag is cuttlebugged with Swiss Dots and inked with a white ink pad.
Hope you like it!!

Quick and Easy Birthday Card!

Here is a cute little card I made for a little boys birthday party. Yes it's cricutless, which is insane I know!! Yet sometimes you only have a few moments to put a card together.

The paper is from the Party Time Stack by My Mind's Eye. The card is A2 size with two 1/4 inch layers. My inside little layer where my cupcake is stamped is 2" by 2 1/2". Blue brads complete my little cupcake layer and it is popped up with sticky-doos!
On the inside layer I stamped a few more sentiments from the Birthday Cupcake clear stamp set by Inkadinkadoo.
Hope you like it!
